19th September 2009: Members Day 13th September 2009

655MaPS held a Members Only display on Sunday 13th September. Two EGRs (Engine Ground Runs) were completed successfully, and in between all members were able to visit the cockpit of XM655 to get a feel of the conditions inside a Cold War icon..

The highlight of the day was a spectacular display by our friends at TVOC. XH558 was in transit from the Leuchars air show to its summer base at Brize Norton, with Phill O’Dell, Kevin Rumens and Barry Masefield on board. After a flypast at Sywell, they kindly arranged to route via Wellesbourne and gave us an excellent display..
